Robert Leddy
A member of the Writers Guild since 2000, Robert began collaborating with producer Kevin Chinoy after the premiere of his short film A Clockwork Maury and his creative contributions to Greg the Bunny. Robert’s journey has also included profound challenges, two kidney transplants over two decades, met with support from his daughters, including a life-saving kidney transplant from his eldest daughter. With his health fully restored, Robert is dedicating his creative energy to Wilbur & Orville: The Workshop Upstairs, a project that reflects his belief in resilience, invention, and the power of perseverance.

Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri
For more than twenty-five years, Freestyle Picture Company partners Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri have produced award-winning film, television, theater, and branded content with some of the industry’s most acclaimed artists and companies. Their films have premiered at Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Berlin, NYFF, Locarno, SXSW, and Tribeca, and have been recognized by the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Gothams, WGA, DGA, SAG, Critics Choice, and Independent Spirit Awards.
Their long list of collaborators includes Sean Baker, with whom they have partnered on Starlet, Tangerine, The Florida Project, and the TV series Greg the Bunny. They have produced theater on and off Broadway, in London, and in Los Angeles. They have also produced the directorial debuts of Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore, Olivia Wilde, Eva Longoria, Zoe Saldana, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Weisz, Kate Hudson, Courtney Cox, Ashley Judd, Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Rita Wilson, and Trudie Styler.
ABOUT WILBUR AND ORVILLE'S WORKSHOP UPSTAIRS AND THE TEAM
Donn Lashley
Entrepreneur, preservationist, and arts advocate, Donn Lashley has been a steady civic force in Wilmington since 1986. A Michigan native educated at Central Michigan University and the University of Idaho, Donn built and led a regional high-rise waterproofing company for 35 years before retiring to focus more fully on community and cultural initiatives.
His commitment to historic preservation is tangible — restoring over a dozen significant residential and commercial properties — and institutional, having served on multiple City of Wilmington boards, including the Historic Preservation Commission.
A devoted champion of the arts, Donn helped launch Art for the Masses and has served on the boards of Cucalorus Film Festival and Dram Tree Shakespeare. He currently supports the future of Thalian Hall as a member of its Capital Fundraising Committee.
An engaged father and global traveler, Donn recently returned from a 2025 Mount Everest summit attempt and is midway through an around-the-world motorcycle expedition with his son.
Wilbur & Orville: The Workshop Upstairs marks his inaugural theatrical production.
